Anchors of Hope: HIRE WITH PURPOSE.

From D-Day to Veterans Day, Anchors of Hope challenges companies to hire veterans. Every veteran hired creates opportunity, strengthens teams, and helps bridge the gap between service and civilian careers.

How It Works

FOUR STEPS. ONE COMMITMENT. LASTING IMPACT.

The Anchors of Hope pledge is a public commitment to prioritize veteran talent. Companies that take the pledge agree to concrete, measurable actions, not just statements.

  • R
MAKE THE COMMITMENT: The men and women who served our nation spent years answering a call greater than themselves. Your company commits to helping veterans find meaningful careers, renewed purpose, and a mission beyond the uniform.
  • R
HIRE WITH PURPOSE: Veterans bring leadership, resilience, and a commitment to excellence forged through service. We help connect you with talented veterans ready to make an impact on your team.
  • R
REPORT YOUR IMPACT: Every veteran hire represents a new chapter of opportunity. Report your hires and help demonstrate what is possible when businesses invest in those who served.
  • R
CELEBRATE THE MISSION: Together, we honor service through action. $15,000 will be donated to Veteran Service Organizations on behalf of our top participants, extending the impact beyond the workplace.

Every Veteran Deserves A Next Mission

The Anchors of Hope campaign runs from June 6th, the anniversary of D-Day, through November 11th, Veterans Day. Every company that pledges during this window commits to hiring veterans who have already proven their dedication to something greater than themselves.

EXTENDING THE IMPACT

Creating opportunity is only the beginning.

At the conclusion of the Anchors of Hope campaign, OVERWATCH will donate $15,000 to three Veteran Service Organizations on behalf of the companies leading the charge in veteran hiring.

Additional donations made through Anchors of Hope help extend that impact even further. Every contribution is divided equally among Boot Campaign, Folds of Honor, and the Rick Herrema Foundation, supporting veterans and military families through wellness programs, educational scholarships, and community support initiatives.

Together, we can create more opportunities, strengthen more families, and continue serving those who have served our nation.

VETERAN SUCCESS STORIES

Supporting veterans goes beyond words. It means creating opportunities, opening doors, and helping those who served our nation find purpose in their next mission.

"I spent years in the Marine Corps learning that controlled chaos is just another word for Tuesday. So when I landed in data center construction, I felt right at home. After nearly a decade of bouncing through various industries trying to find where I fit, it turns out the answer was large-scale infrastructure builds with impossible timelines and a dozen competing stakeholders. Basically, just a deployment, but with better chow."

Ariel B.

Marine Corps · Construction Manager

"During Airborne School and a deployment to Iraq, I suffered multiple traumatic brain injuries, survived two explosions, and lost brothers in combat. After earning two Purple Hearts, the physical and emotional toll of war ultimately led to a medical discharge. Losing the uniform meant losing my sense of identity and purpose. But with the support of my family and a commitment to rebuilding my life, I found a new mission. I still lead. I still serve. Just in a different uniform."

Dr. Erich Pyles

Army · Director of Safety

"After 20 years in the Army, I learned that mission success depends on disciplined teams, clear standards, and people willing to do hard things the right way. Working at Overwatch has allowed me to continue serving in a meaningful way, helping build people, strengthen culture, and support a mission-driven organization that truly values veterans, first responders, and military spouses."

Share the Mission

From D-Day through Veterans Day, Anchors of Hope is mobilizing organizations across America to create meaningful career opportunities for veterans.

Our nation's veterans spent years serving a mission greater than themselves. When military service ends, the need for purpose, community, and opportunity does not.

That's why we've created the 2026 Anchors of Hope Toolkit: a collection of free resources designed to help organizations take action, share the mission, and inspire others to support those who served.

Inside, you'll find campaign messaging, social media graphics, sample content, participation guidance, and downloadable assets that make it easy to amplify your commitment and encourage others to join the movement.

Together, we can help more veterans find meaningful careers, renewed purpose, and a strong foundation for their next chapter.
